Ai Group welcomed the opportunity to make a submission to the Senate Education and Employment Legislation Committee’s inquiry into the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Protecting Worker Entitlements) Bill 2023 (Cth) (Bill).
The Bill introduces some significant changes to the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), including changes which are contentious and detrimental to business.
Ai Group opposes the Bill as it is presently drafted. If the Bill is to be passed by the Parliament, it requires further amendment.
